Photo of Tony, Tracy & Dad
For many years now Tracy's second child Anotonio Herrera, known as Tony, has been missing, taken by his father when he was still only a small child.

Tracy has seen him a few times since, but only for short periods of time. Where Tony is today we don't know. Tracy is working on several web pages dedicated to Tony. When complete I will post that link on my website; until then I am posting photos to Flickr that I scanned for her website. Maybe, just maybe, if Tony scans the net he will run across these photos or Tracy's website.

UPDATE 9/3/07: Tracy has completed her website dedicated to Tony. Take a look at it.

Javier Graduates UTI

Javier UT Graduation
On Saturday Tracy was a proud and happy mom, she watched her son, Javier, graduate from Universal Technology Institute ("UTI") with various honors and an excellent GPA. He had been attending UTI for about 18 months learning to get a technical degree in auto mechanics. With his graduation from UTI he is on his way to being a Master Mechanic.

This course was designed to take individuals with the necessary skill sets and improve them well beyond the days of the traditional grease monkey. They learned the inside out of nearly every aspect of automobile repair for ALL the major makes including the likes of BMW, Mercedes, Ford and Toyota. The end result is an individual who could probably field strip a BMW and have the knowledge on how to put it back together again. Click Here to Read More...

Step-Son In Iraq

Carlos-Uniform
Carlos Sr., celebrated his 21st birthday a few days ago. He celebrated that birthday in war torn Iraq. As someone that lived overseas for several years I understand the trials and tribulations of living in a foreign land, even when the warm blanket of Uncle Sam is there with you. I can even understand living in a nation on the brink of devestating war, Korea always seemed one hour from the edge all the time. I can't though understanding being in a hot zone, taking enemy fire, moving from one location to the next never knowing where the next insurgent might take a pot shot at your squad. I also can't imagine the imense heat of Iraq in Summer.

Family - I'm a Lucky Man

I'm a lucky man. Yes, there is just quite no other way to say it. Yes, being a bachelor has it's advantages, but by my score keeping a wife and family has far more advantages. Tracy is asks from time to time if I miss my days as a confirmed bachelor, and I tell her every time that I don't. I'm not sure she believes me each and every time; never-the-less it is true.
